Description

The General Services Administration, Region 8, is initiating a project to renovate/remodel an estimated 6,300 rentable square feet of existing U.S.Marshals Service space at the Andrew Bogue Federal Building/Courthouse located in Rapid City, SD. The U.S. Marshals are in need of additional space due to increased staffing at this location. The office space with associated holding cells on the third floor is outdated and no longer meets the requirements specified in the USMS Publication 64. Additional new space in the basement level will add an additional command and control center and a breakroom for the Courtroom Security Officers (CSOs).

Before submitting a proposal on the work specified herein, each bidder is strongly advised to attend the pre-bid to familiarize themselves with all existing conditions, identify limitations, and field verify dimensions for use in submitting offer and completion of work. No extra compensation will be allowed because of the Contractor’s misunderstanding as to the amount of work involved or because of his/her lack of knowledge of any existing conditions.
