Salient Characteristics for Repositioning Slings

Repositioning/Transfer slings:

Must be compatible for use with loop spreader bar ceiling lift systems with either 2 or 4 pt.
Must have a safe working load of 454 kg (1000lbs) since they are also a full body lift sling.
Must have a width of 45” and length of 86 ”.
Machine wash and dry capacity of up to but not to exceed 176 F.
Made of wicking material to support a safe microclimate feature to reduce heat/moisture and reduce risk of pressure ulcers.
Patient surface must be single layer, completely seamless patient surface area to reduce risk of high pressure points on the patient. Combining the benefits of a sling with bed linen.
4 loop recoil straps to provide lift height alternatives, precise equal pressure when turning or lifting patient up in bed.
