The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support is seeking sources capable of providing TriMed orthopedic "procedural packages". The vendor must be capable of supplying these "procedural packages" including orthopedic implants, instrumentation sets, and ancillary accessories (such as bone cement. guide wire, etc.) that are necessary for the physician to perform orthopedic surgery.

All products must be Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved.

The orthopedic products must be delivered Just-In-Time (JIT), Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD) and Consignment. Under the DVD method, an order for products is placed through ECAT and the products are delivered direct to the customer via any transportation carrier. Under the consignment method, the MTFs will have the products consigned to their facility.

At the request of the MTFs, the manufacturer is required to have a qualified representative on site at the MTFs within the timeframe specified by the facility necessary to meet their requirements. The manufacturer's representative provides technical advise and guidance to the physician before, during and after implantation. Furthermore, technical support is available twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
