Description

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Orleans District has the following:

NOTE: THIS IS A SYNOPSIS, NOT A SOLICITATION. SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; THEREFORE, NO QUESTIONS OF A TECHNICAL OR CONTRACTUAL NATURE WILL BE ACCEPTED OR ANSWERED UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED. INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

This is a Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone) Set-Aside (FAR 19.13) procurement. NAICS Code: 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Construction. Grand Isle and Vicinity, Dune Foundation Prep, Jefferson Parish, LA (ED-22-047). This solicitation, W912P922B0062, is anticipated to be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about 23 July 2022.  Actual issue date and anticipated bid opening will be shown when the solicitation is issued.

The work consists of the removal of existing sand and supersacks, sifting of sand, hauling and placing sand foundations, new supersack placement, hauling and placing sand cover, and other incidental work.

The estimated magnitude is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.

The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments.
