Description

Project Summary:

The project is to replace the existing potable and storm sewer piping system, remodel the public restrooms, and build cistern repairs, at the Almeric L. Christian Federal Office Building and U.S. Courthouse.

The project shall be designed in accordance with all applicable building codes and Facilities Standards for the Public Buildings Services P100 (P-100) and with an Approved waiver for the substitution of copper and cast-iron piping for plastic, PVC, and CPVC.

The Design-Build Contractor shall provide Commissioning, labeling, and testing of All piping, and equipment that was affected by the work. (Note: Any systems to be removed and re-installed shall be tested prior to removal to establish an agreed-upon baseline Performance parameters. Upon re-installation, systems not upgraded in this contract shall be tested and shown to meet the baseline performance parameters. As well as associated work in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, as indicated in the scope of work and general project requirements of Division 1.
