Description
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Research and Development Center (RDC) is assisting with improving air search radar (ASR) capabilities on USCG Cutters. This program requires Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) pilots to fly representative threat profiles during Research, Testing, Training and Evaluation (RTT&E) events to verify ASR system performance and collect data used to improve ASR capabilities. Additionally, the program requires UAS flights for USCG cutter crew training and VIP demonstrations. To support required testing, data collection, training and demonstrations, expert UAS pilots and UAS are needed to fly Red Team UAS flight patterns and Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
