Description
** 7 June 2022 - Amendment 2 is posted. This includes Q&A round 2. Solicitation close date remains unchanged.**
**26 May 2022 - The sign-in sheet for the sign visit has been attached. Amendment 1 will be posted early next week. This will include adding CLIN 0003 (option) for telecommunication cabling/drops, implementing a revised SOW and drawings, and answering Q&A.**

Repair Misson Planning Room, 176WG, Alaska Air National Guard

The 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK, invites you to an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for repair of the mission planning room at the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK.
Base Bid Item: Non personal services: Provide all plant, labor, new and current material, transportation, tools, equipment, appliances, supplies, services, permits, insurance and supervision necessary to repair the 176WG Mission Planning area IAW the SOW dated 13 May 2022.
Option Bid Item: Non personal services: Provide all plant, labor, new and current material, transportation, tools, equipment, appliances, supplies, services, permits, insurance and supervision necessary to disassemble, move, and reassemble furniture in rooms 326, 331 and 332 of the 176WG Mission Planning area IAW the SOW dated 13 May 2022.
The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the offer or $3,000,000, whichever is greater, is required.
The total Construction duration is anticipated to be 120 days after notice to proceed for the base contract and option.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The Government anticipates this opportunity to be a total small business set- aside. The small business size standard is $39.5 million average annual revenue. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project.
An organized site visit will be conducted on Thursday, 19 May @ 2:00pm AKST. Please meet at the 7252 Gibson Ave parking lot before driving over to Hangar 18 to view the workspace. Additionally, please contact gerald.romig.1@us.af.mil as soon as possible if you do not have existing base access.
