All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Brief Description/Information of Services: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is soliciting information from contractors that can provide Fire and Life Inspection Services. A draft of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this notice The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, apparatuses, and supervision to perform the Fire and Life Inspection Services. The services will be required at various facilities throughout the Veterans Administration Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS). See attached Draft Performance Work Statement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541350, Building Inspection Services. The small business size standard is $11.5 Million. Period of Performance (POP): Base Year POP 07/01/2023 06/30/2024 Plus four one-year options, total five years. Date and Time for Responses: All interested contractors must respond by email to pablo.cunanan@va.gov no later than 4:00 PM PDT on 05-16-2023. No telephone calls will be entertained. Solicitation number 36C261-23-AP-2138 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. Therefore, your response email on the subject line shall be titled: 36C261-23-AP-2138 Fire and Life Inspection Services Required Responses: Please answer the following questions when responding. Capabilities Statement. 4. List of projects, federal, government/military, such as GSA, SEWP that are similar in scope and size, and commercial. List contract numbers and point-of-contact. 5. Anticipated Teaming Arrangements (if any). If plan on subcontracting, demonstrate that you will meet the limitations on subcontracting per FAR 52.219-14 for Small Businesses; VAAR 852.219-74 for SDVOSB/VOSB. 6. Fill out the price estimate on the attached price schedule. The Government will use this information when determining its business type decision.
