Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ONLY; REQUIREMENTS WILL BE PUBLISHED AS AN ATTACHMENT TO THE SOLICIATION, WHICH WILL BE PUBLISHED AS PRESCRIBED BELOW.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to issue a solicitation 15B41425Q00000002 for the requirements of Quarterly Subsistence/Spices/Kosher/Meat.  The contractor shall adhere to the delivery schedule established in the solicitation.  Estimated delivery date will be on or about, April 15, 2025 (see Delivery Schedule and Delivery Information Clauses).  Deliveries will be made to the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri, 65807.  The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single or multiple awards.  The NAICS code for this solicitation is 311999.  The solicitation is restricted to 100% small business, FOB Destination, and is a firm-fixed price contract.  The Government will award to the responsible contractor(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price related factors and past performance per FAR 13.106-2(b)(3).  The solicitation will be available on or about/after February 10, 2025 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at https://sam.gov/.  Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.  The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.  Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.  By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirements that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM), database prior to award.  Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.  Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.  The anticipated cutoff date for receipt of quotations is on or about February 24, 2025.  The Government reserves the right to make payments using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), or Government purchase card (GPC). Payment will be made using the GPC for awards less than $10,000.00. For awards $10,000.00 or greater, payment will be made using EFT.
