Description

SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft (NAWCAD) is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to manufacture the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the procurement of: NSN 4220-01-169-0605, P/N 1914-003-02, Nomenclature: MW24: SEAWARS KITS, a Cobham Mission Systems part. The government does not possess or cannot provide the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Free Trade Agreements Act and/or the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 30 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Approval of a source may be required and NAWC AD will not delay award while Source Approval is pending.
