Description
The laboratory multi-pathogen work leverages on the HIV diagnostic platform to address two things, co-infections that could interfere with diagnosis and detection of recent infection, and screening of Mother to Child infections at no additional cost. Diagnostic assays that can simultaneously determine the presence of infection with multiple pathogens are key for diagnosis and surveillance.
