Intent to Sole Source – Rental of Convention Booth Space

This is an Intent to Sole Source. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, of quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information regarding this requirement.  MICC-Fort Knox, 199 6th Avenue, Fort Knox, KY 40121, on behalf of the U.S. Army Mission Support Battalion, 185 9th Cavalry Regiment Avenue, Fort Knox, KY 40121 intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source award to the Distributive Education Clubs of America Inc. dba DECA, 1908 Association Drive Reston, VA 20191. DECA is the sole source to provide the rental of booth space at THE DECA 2023 INTERNATIONAL CAREER DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE 21-24 APRIL 2023 located at the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819.

This sole source award to the DECA is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures outline in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5.  This sole source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b) – soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

This is not a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements.  No solicitation will be posted because of this notice. This notice complies with FAR 5.101, Methods of disseminating information.
