Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) Regional Contracting Office, New Orleans, LA 70114 hereby gives notice to intent to award a purchase order to AARDVARK 1935 Puddingstone DR La Verne, California 91750-5818, United States (CAGE: 0N995) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(2)(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Provost Marshal’s Office (PMO) aboard MARFORRES, LA has a requirement to establish a contract to procure Human Electro-Muscular Incapacitation (HEMI) devices.  Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing all the required equipment.  Therefore, the government intends to procure this equipment on a sole source basis from AARDVARK.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.  However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
