Description

This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 – Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions.

The Library of Congress, Contract and Grants Directorate, intends to award a sole-source firm fixed price contract to The Graphics Office LLC, 769 Carroll ST Brooklyn, New York 11215-1464. The estimated period of performance is from 02/23/2022 to 06/15/2025.

This contract will be issued as a modification to an already awarded contract for administrative convenience.

Upon successful completion of this effort, the Library will have professionally produced design for the third rotation of Collecting Memories: Treasures of the Library of Congress exhibit. It is anticipated that multiple sources within the commercial marketplace will be able to compete for future exhibit design requirements and rotations.

This is not a request for quotes or proposals. Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. Responses to this notice should demonstrate evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission of the Library of Congress. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.

Question or comments to this Notice of Intent should be directed to Ramon Samuel, Contracting Officer, at rsamuel@loc.gov with a copy sent to Moji Adejuwon at moad@loc.gov.  Please indicate in the subject of your e-mail: "Notice of Intent - Treasures of the Library of Congress Design"
