Description

Delineated Area: 10-15 mile radius from Gate 9 of Redstone Arsenal towards Huntsville International Airport.

Facility Requirements: 

Total SqFt: 20,000+

Electrical Service: 800Kw

HVAC Capacity: 240+ Tons

Workspace Capacity: 50 – 100 Users (Dev, Test, Int) (more capacity for developers?)

Network Capacity: Ability to establish 10G SDREN connection.

  1. Support up to 3 cases concurrently (SoS Integration, Test, V&V, etc.)
    1. 3 Cases is the threshold; ability to grow and scale beyond 3 cases is an objective requirement.
  2. Support up to 60 personnel for Test & integration and V&V & infrastructure O&M
  1. Support up to 175 personnel participating in Integrated Development Teams for SW development, systems engineering, test, cyber, etc.
    1. This is an "objective" requirement; all others are "threshold" unless otherwise stated.
  1. Allow Foreign Nationals to enter the facility, and conduct hands-on system integration & test activities, as well as attend demonstrations and conduct collaborative and informative meetings and briefings.
  2. Allow for mixed personnel to collaborate in the same physical workspaces.
  3. Allow for designated US-only personnel cleared workspaces.
  4. Allow for equipment of US and NON-US origins (i.e indigenous components, sensors, comms, models, emulators, and simulators, etc.) for integration, test, evaluation, and validation. 
  5. Provide unclassified network services, connected back to IF-IDE hub and SWIF infrastructure.
  6. Provide classified network services (Secret collateral, and secret releasable), connected back to IF-IDE hub and SWIF infrastructure.
  7. Provide space for 1x full time facility security officer to oversee and manage the industrial security program.
    1. 1x FTE based on 3x concurrent cases; security personnel will increase number of concurrent cases/programs and/or selected facility size/layout.
  8. Provide space for up to 8x FTE for facility infrastructure and user support.
    1. 8x FTE based on 3x concurrent cases; support personnel will increase number of concurrent cases/programs.
  9. Provide space for up to 4x FTE for program management and technical oversight personnel.
    1. 4x FTE based on 3x concurrent cases; support personnel will increase number of concurrent cases/programs.
