Description

The Government of the United States of America in Mexico has a requirement for cellphone and mobile Internet services for U.S. Mission Mexico. The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City and U.S. Consulates in Mexico are currently using approximately 2,500 lines for official purposes. The Contractor shall provide complete and reliable mobile telephone and Internet services for the U. S. Embassy in Mexico City and the U.S. Consulates in Mexico, as requested and approved by the Contracting Officer. Services provided shall include, but will not be limited to:

  • Keeping current active lines and providing local telephone numbers for new and temporary lines, as requested.
  • Controlled and Non-Controlled services.
  • Unlimited incoming/outgoing calls within Mexico, U.S. and Canada for Cellphone Services.
  • Unlimited incoming/outgoing SMS Messages within Mexico, U.S. and Canada.
  • Wireless Data Services.
  • Wireless Application Protocol (WAP).
  • Voice Mail.
  • 24-hour Customer Service.
  • Replacement / spare SIM Cards.
  • Detailed Billing of Calls and Internet usage.
  • International incoming/outgoing calls.
  • International Roaming.

The Contractor shall ensure that the connection through its network is of the highest quality possible and shall be uninterrupted, clear, and with no static.  Network problems shall be remedied immediately, and the COR must be immediately informed of any problems and their resolution.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be an IDIQ type contract.  

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov  prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
