M242 Automatic Gun Drive Motor Repair/Upgrade

NOTE: This is a MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) notice in support of the following potential requirement. Responses will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition.  The Government is not committed to issue a solicitation or award a contract as a result of this announcement. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. All portions of this RFI are merely for market research purposes and subject to change at any time. Response to this survey is voluntary and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey. Data submitted in response to this RFI will not be returned.  Since this is only a RFI and not a solicitation for receipt of proposals or quotations, the Government does not encourage questions concerning this market research.

Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal is conducting market research to determine industry's capability to provide M242 Gun Drive Motor repair/upgrades. There is no TDP available for purposes of this RFI. Interested vendors should provide all the following information:

1. Company Name, mailing address, CAGE Code, website, point of contact, phone number, and email address.

2. Business size.

3. What experience does your company have successfully repairing/upgrading and delivering the M242 Gun Drive Motor?

4. If your company has provided M242 Gun Drive Motor repair/upgrade services to the United States Government, please provide the name of the requiring activity and the contract number(s).

5. What is your company's maximum monthly production capability and the production lead time required to begin deliveries of M242 Gun Drive Motor repair/upgrades at that rate?

All interested firms and manufacturers, regardless of size, may respond to this request for information.
