Can you confirm that the existing computer is antiquated and the operating system can no longer be updated?
RESPONSE: Yes, the computer is antiquated and the operating system is no longer supported by Microsoft.
If yes, is replacement of the computer required under this scope of work?
RESPONSE: Yes, a new computer will be required to replace the current computer.
Can you provide details on the existing incumbent or contract number for the contract(s) these services are replacing?
RESPONSE: This contract will combine two existing contracts into one maintenance contract for the HVAC and BAS systems. The incumbent contractors are REPAINTEX COMPANY and ABRAXAS ENERGY CONSULTING LLC.
Can you please provide an extension of 30 days to allow for more time to present our proposal to the government?
RESPONSE: The solicitation is not planned to be extended at this time. If the solicitation response date/time is extended, it will be done via amendment.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation is being issued as a total small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 238220. The small business size standard is $19.0 million. The Government intends to award a trade-off, firm fixed-price purchase order.

This combined solicitation/synopsis is for non-personal HVAC Preventative and Emergency Maintenance Services for Baltimore/Washington Weather Forecast Office (WFO) Located in Sterling, VA.
