The United States Border Patrol (USBP) requires geophysical surveying and mapping services to perform cone penetration testing (CPT) (or acceptable substitute), deploy a variety of geophysical surveying technologies, drill up to twenty-five (25) uncased twenty-four-inch (24”) diameter boreholes up to one-hundred-feet (100’) deep, drill up to two lined forty-two-inch (42”) diameter boreholes up to one-hundred- feet (100’) deep, and provide earth-moving equipment to manage the drilling spoils and aid with geophysical surveying. The work will be completed at specific locations as directed by DHS personnel within the Calexico, CA Port of Entry area. 

The Contractor shall drill five (5) boreholes to a depth of up to one-hundred (100’) feet at specific locations as indicated by USBP/CBP representative. Each borehole will be completed by drilling a twenty-four (24) inch diameter borehole within industry best practices for standard deviation from vertical.
