STATEMENT OF WORK
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Title of Project: Brand Name or Equal SONIMAGE® HS2 Portable Ultrasound System for Rheumatology Service at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System, East Orange Campus.
2. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this statement of work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified. This procurement is for the VA New Jersey Healthcare System, East Orange Campus and includes the following
1. HS2 Portable Ultrasound System
2. Supplies Starter Kit W/Gel and Pro Wipes.
3. Advanced Ergonomic Cart W/Height Adjustability, Supplies Basket W/ Lockable Wheels.
4. 15 Inch Monitor Capacitance Method Touch
5. Medical Grade Ups with Isolation 110V
6. 146 Gigabyte Hard Drive
7. Lithium Ion Battery- 1 Hour
8. Connectivity-Wireless, Ethernet, USB, Serial Data Outputs
9. System Inputs Outputs-Video Audio Output-DVI-D
10. Other Input Output-USB/SD Card/Ethernet
3. Background: The Rheumatology service is requesting a dedicated musculoskeletal ultrasound machine to improve patient care. A growing body of clinical and research studies have demonstrated the utility of ultrasound for providing better diagnostic and treatment decisions in patients with rheumatic disorders. It has been used in chronic inflammatory arthritis, crystalline arthropathies, spondyloarthropathies, osteoarthritis, and soft tissue syndromes. In addition, US is a bedside tool for performing accurate and safe diagnostic arthrocentesis. Musculoskeletal ultrasound instruction has also been incorporated in many rheumatology fellowship programs and many trainees favoring programs that have a musculoskeletal ultrasound curriculum. Currently, both the Manhattan VA and Bronx VA Rheumatology Departments have dedicated musculoskeletal ultrasound machines and incorporated ultrasound clinics weekly which is a wonderful resource for patients and trainees.
4. Period Of
Performance: 30 Days After Receipt of Order (ARO) to include delivery, assembly, and installation.

B. SPECIFIC MANDATORY TASKS AND ASSOCIATED DELIVERABLES
Description of Tasks and Associated Deliverables: The contractor shall provide the specific deliverables described below within the performance period stated in Section A.4 of this SOW. Contractor shall ship any necessary computer hardware.
The contractor shall deliver, assemble, configure, test, and install for operation of the SONIMAGE® HS2 Portable Ultrasound System at the VA New Jersey Healthcare System, East Orange Campus, 385 Tremont Ave, East Orange, NJ 07018. This includes:
