Description

REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION PRESOLICITATION NOTICE #36C25022R0093 The purpose of this modification is to provide the Request for Information (RFI) Questions and Answers for Presolicitation Notice #36C25022R0093, Project: A/E Design, Renovate and Expand Sterile Processing Service, for the Cleveland VA Medical Center. Q.1. Request consideration to change the NAICS Code to 541330. A.1. Engineering strongly believes that the NAICS Code for this project should remain 541310 since the Architectural design, layout and flow of the SPS suite is the driving factor towards achieving a successful project. We acknowledge that there is a significant amount of important supporting MEP Engineering that is involved in SPS projects. However, the MEP Engineering does not drive the overall layout and function of the SPS suite which is critical. Q.2. The SOW indicates that the A/E will obtain the services of a third party Master Integration Consultant. If we have qualified individuals in-house, is it necessary to hire a third party consultant? A.2. Engineering prefers that the A/E hire an independent, 3rd party, Master Systems Integrator Consultant. Q.3. Are all pages included in the page count (CPAR / Cover / Part II s)? A.3. Yes. All pages are included in the pages count total (50).
