Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division anticipates a contract requirement for the procurement of the Motor Control Panel (MCP) to support MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) New Launcher Production Program. This includes the manufacture, assembly, and testing of the MCPs for the Air Dominance Department of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Port Hueneme California. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334519 with a Size Standard of 500  employees.


The anticipated performance period will span five years which includes a 12-moth base period and four 12-month option periods. A Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract is anticipated. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

A pre-solicitation notice was posted on 3 February 2021 to beta.sam.gov. The specifications/drawing package will be available via FedEx upon written request submitted from the Offeror to megan.n.hamlin2.civ@us.navy.mil and nayneet.kaur.civ@us.navy.mil. These drawings are restricted and can only be made available to DoD contractors under the Joint Certification Program.


Offerors may submit questions regarding this solicitation by e-mailing the Contract Specialist at and megan.n.hamlin2.civ@us.navy.mil the Contracting Officer at nayneet.kaur.civ@us.navy.mil. It is required that all questions be received two weeks prior to the closing date of this solicitation. Questions received after may not be answered prior to the proposal due date.

Solicitation Amendment 4:  The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions from industry and update Section L, 1.0 General.
