Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit proposals for After-hours (emergency) Answering Services from qualified quoters. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) VA Pacific Islands Health Care System requires the contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Answering services for the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System, 459 Patterson Road, Honolulu, HI 96819. The Period of Performance will be for a Base year and four (4) one-year options. The anticipated start date will be on or near December 01, 2024. The Solicitation will be issued on a restricted basis and will be a 100% Total small business set-aside. To be eligible for award the business shall be relevant under the NAICS code and must be registered. Potential offerors are advised that failure to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database SAM.gov | Entity Registrations will render your firm ineligible for award. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about October 01, 2024. Quotes will be accepted commencing with the issuance date of the solicitation. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from the www.sam.gov website, as no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quote submission process. Prospective contractors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the www.sam.gov website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM) prospective contractors must be registered in SAM to be eligible for award. SAM registration is required under the applicable NAICS Code. PSC: R699 Support- Administrative: Other NAICS: 561421 Telephone Answering Services Size Standard: $19 Million The Request for Quotes (RFQ) solicitation will be posted on Contracting Opportunities. This Pre-Solicitation Notice is NOT a request for submittals of any kind. The VA plans to issue the RFQ.
