Description
This announcement constitutes a Pre-Solicitation Notice/Synopsis in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2. The Government intends to issue a formal solicitation via a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR 15, following this announcement, on or about 15 calendar days from the publication of this announcement. The solicitation and if applicable, any amendments, shall be posted on SAM.gov. Responses will be due on or about 30 calendar days after the solicitation is posted, unless extended through an amendment. There may be a question and answer period/pre-proposal conference before proposals are due. Interested offerors must be active in SAM.gov at the date and time proposals are due to be eligible for award. Proposals submitted by contractors without an active record in SAM.gov will not be considered.
The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting offers for a single award, Firm-Fixed Price contract type with an estimated magnitude for the base and options between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Government anticipates awarding a single contract for the 0402 GAOA Critical Housing Deferred Maintenance project in Boise City County, Idaho.
Scope of Work:
This project includes remodeling 2 bunkhouses and a showerhouse at the Garden Valley Work Center. The work includes selective demolition, interior framing, plumbing, electrical wiring installing: flooring, doors, showers, toilets, urinals, water heaters, and propane lines, painting and all related work.
This is a total small businesses set-aside.
Location:
The project is located in the Emmett Ranger District of the Boise National Forest, Boise County, Idaho, in Section 1, T8N, R4E. It is located approximately 3 miles east of Garden Valley, ID. The project may be accessed from State Highway 17.
