Description
UPDATE #2 - Amendment #1 to the RFP has been released on 04/21/22.
UPDATE #1 - The Government anticipates releasing the responses to the questions received for this RFP the week of 04/18/22. The Government anticipates the due date for the RFP to be extended to 05/04/22. This information will be updated with the release of the formal amendment to the RFP the week of 04/18/22.
You are invited to submit a proposal in response to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) / Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) NASA Sounding Rocket Operations Contract (NSROC) IV solicitation. The principal purpose of this requirement is to operate and maintain the government-owned facilities located at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia (WFF) and at White Sands Missile Range, White Sands, New Mexico (WSMR). The Contractor shall be responsible for conducting sounding rocket operations from multiple launch sites, including remote launch campaigns.
This competitive acquisition will result in a Cost-Plus-Award Fee (CPAF) contract with core requirements and IDIQ requirements with the ability to issue CPAF task orders. The IDIQ portion of the contract will have an effective ordering period of five (5) years from the contract effective date, and the core portion of the contract will have a 12-month Base Period and four (4) 12-month options.
