This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HT942523Q0059. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04 are incorporated. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This action is set-aside 100% for small businesses.The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) has a requirement for a contract that provides for severable, non-personal services to sort peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from Lassa fever virus (LASV) survivors to discover and produce monoclonal antibodies for assessment in in-vitro and in-vivo assays at USAMRIID. Successful antibody discovery pipelines depend on: (1) the source sample used for antibody discovery, (2) the availability of high-quality antigens to identify and down-select candidate Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), and (3) a detailed understanding of the underlying biology of the target. The contract, awarded as a result of this solicitation, will consist of one, 12-month base period and two, 12-month option periods for a total of 36 months.The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing services outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
