Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:

This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ); the RFQ will be posted in mid-December.

The National Park Service, Contracting Operations - Central, Missouri Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the installation of ADA compliant curb ramps to replace existing step from roadway surface to wood boardwalk within Lincoln Home National Historic Site 413 S. 8th Street Springfield IL, 62701.

Work will consist of removing eight existing boardwalk walkways and installing 8 exposed aggregate concrete ramps totaling approximately 100 linear feet, six feet wide and five inches thick.

SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6225Q0001

PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000

TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by February 2025 with performance to begin promptly or as weather permits.

Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Sangamon County, IL will apply.

EVALUATION FACTORS: Price and other technical factors (comparative analysis.

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 237310 - Concrete Paving, and the size standard is $45 million.

This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses.

SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.

PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued and available mid-December and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities .

The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.

REGISTRATIONS: An offeror must have an UEI number to be awarded a contract. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date once the solicitation is posted.
