Maintenance and Inspection of Fire Protection Systems

This notice is issued pursuant to FAR 15.202, Advisory multi-step process. This notice contains a description of a follow-on requirement and instructions on how companies should respond. This notice is not the actual solicitation, but is for the purpose of determining which companies are interested and to evaluate their solution viability prior to soliciting proposals. The MICC Fort Lee will notify companies responding to this notice if they are invited to participate in the resultant acquisition, or that it is unlikely to be a viable competitor. If a company is determined not to be a viable competitor, they are not precluded from submitting a proposal once the actual solicitation is issued. The solicitation for this requirement is expected for release within the next 30 days. This notice does not constitute a commitment on the part of the Government, and does not guarantee that an actual solicitation or a contract will be issued.

The only INTERESTED VENDORS LISTS (plan-holder's/bidder's list) is available via SAM.gov.  Contractors are responsible for self-identifying as interested vendors and viewing other interested vendors.  Contractors should check SAM.gov frequently for any changes to the interested vendors list and notice.

Conducting Business with the Government: All Offerors must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov. By submission of a quote the Offeror acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. When available, the solicitation documents for this project will be accessible via SAM.gov at www.sam.gov. No CD’s or hard copies will be available. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an Offeror’s inability to access the document posted at the referenced website.

BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE PRE-SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.

The solicitation will proceed as a 100% small business 8(a) set-aside competitive and is estimated to be issued on or about June 20, 2022 with quotes due tentatively on July 20, 2022.  The RFQ will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as www.SAM.gov and will establish a firm quote due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
