Description

AMENDMENT 0003 3/21/2023:

A Google Drive folder has been created and incorporated into the Attachments/Links section. The folder includes pictures, videos, and information about the antennas at multiple locations. Please request access to view the folder from the Site Visit point of contact, Bobby Harp via email at bobby.harp@noaa.gov.

AMENDMENT 0002 3/16/2023:

NOTE BURAS, LA TOWER:   There is a waveguide bridge that spans approximately 30' horizontally from the building to the tower.  It is approximately 20-25' above ground level.  This may require special equipment such as manlift equipment or other device to reach.  Additionally, the existing cable may be bundled to the ladder and will have to be removed.  NWS will provide hardware to properly attach the cable to the tower for a separate run up the tower.

AMENDMENT 0001 3/15/2023:

NOTE:  This location is in downtown Baton Rouge and is congested with streets, traffic, tower, buildings and power lines.  This will pose a unique challenge to rigging setup and can affect the amount of work and timeline.
