SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD. This Notice is to announce that the Department of Veteran Affairs, Consolidated Mail-Out Phamacy(CMOP) located in Charleston South Carolina is proposing to negotiate a contract with NGA3 Services, LLC a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business on a sole source basis for the delivery of a Brand Specific, Fanfolded Automated Mailer bags to be delivered over 12 weeks. This requirement is based on an Urgent and Compelling need allow time for a new contract to be established supporting the use of a smaller size mailer bags which will reduce waste and cost for the government. The Government believes the reason justifying this sole source procurement is that only one responsible source can meet the immediate needs that will satisfy the agency's requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of Unusual and Compelling Urgency per 41 USC §3304(a)(2) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2; As stated previously, this is not a request for quotes and any interested party may notify the network contracting office (NCO) 15, via email to larry.zaritz@va.gov to express their ability to provide these products for future needs should this need arise again.
