Description
NSWC intends to issue a single award, five-year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), contract for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-Approved Courses of Instruction (COI) that incorporates all training requirements listed below and administration of the FAA Private Pilot-Airplane (PAR) Knowledge Test or FAA Remote Pilot Knowledge Test as identified at the task order level. Students shall be prepared by this COI to obtain a FAA Certificate of Authorization (COA) relating to military unmanned aircraft operations.
The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Services and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will be a 100% 8(a) Small Business Set Aside under NAICS code 611512 (Size Standard $30M).
A complete Request for Quote (RFQ) package will be available for downloading at the Sam.Gov website around 17 July 2022.
Upon award, the initial task order is anticipated to be awarded with a POP beginning on Sept. 12 – 23, 2022 in support of a West Coast based requirement.
