Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract – FDA-122278
Description: STEM-designated Executive in business administration’ MBA Robert H Smith School of Business, University of Maryland Program for executive staff in Office of Clinical Pharmacology (OCP)
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to make a Sole Source award to University of Maryland for the STEM-designated Executive Program in business administration for executive staff in Office of Clinical Pharmacology (OCP). In accordance with the authority under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. NAICS code is 611430 - Professional and Management Development Training. The period of performance will be for a total of 2 years.
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
It is anticipated that an award will be issued to the University of Maryland within approximately fifteen (15) days after the closing date of this notice unless the Government determines that any other organization has the capacity to meet this requirement.
