Description
This solicitation is an invitation for bid for project 523-24-003 Site Sidewalk Improvement Repairs at the VAMC, Jamaica Plain. This project will include, but is not limited to, all work including construction administration, demolition, installation, and repair to perform Concrete Site Repairs at VA Boston Healthcare System Jamaica Plain in accordance with the Statement of Work, Contract Documents, Drawings, Federal, State, and Local Codes. The Period of Performance is 180 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
Scope Details:
Repair of sidewalks, including demolition of existing concrete, relevelling, and reforming of concrete.
5 locations as indicated on attached drawing.
Total of approximately 4540 SF.
Reforming and repair of walkway bridge by Bldg. 1 D wing as indicated on drawing.
Parging and repair of columns in front walkway.
Resetting of granite blocks along Bldg. 1 D wing by Transit Entrance as indicated on drawing. Blocks should be set into repaired concrete associated with sidewalk repair.
Correcting curb cut at Shuttle Entrance in accordance with Architectural Barriers Act (ABA).
