Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision in accordance with construction documents, drawings and specifications to complete Project 607-21-155 as defined by the drawings and specifications. Scope includes, but not limited to: phased modernization of the Eagle Elevator P-1, P-2, P-3, and P-4 controls and equipment and the Freight Elevators S-5 and S-6 controls and equipment. Major elements include demolition, general construction, elevator modernization, asbestos abatement, structural steel, CMU block work, architectural alterations, mechanical HVAC, plumbing and electrical. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on Contact Opportunities. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a; (1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001 (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VIP CVE-VetBiz database at:  VIP Home  · VetBiz Portal (va.gov)   The solicitation will be issued on or about 23 August 2022 with the bid opening on or about 22 September 2022. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from Contact Opportunities which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238290; size standard $19.5 Million applies. Time for completion is 550 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
