Description
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a “Design-Build” project to remove 15 kV SF6 gas insulated pad mounted 6-way, and 4-way switches, 15 kV lightning arresters and load break elbows connectors and provide new Vacuum Fault Interrupter (VFI) FR3 biodegradable fluids, 15 kV, 6-way, and 5-way pad-mounted switches. This includes replacing existing 15 kV lightning arresters, fault indicator devices, 15 kV load break elbow connectors. The work also includes the securing of the new pad-mounted switches.
MAGNITUDE (FAR 36.204): $1,000,000 - $5,000,000.
LOCATION OF WORK: Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 330 calendar days.
RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS: This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237130, with a small business size standard of $39.5 million.
CONTRACT TYPE: Firm Fixed-Price.
SITE VISIT: 31 March 2022 at 0900 ChST (See Attachment 8).
