Description
Sources Sought Notification for a requirement to procure Refinitiv Eikon subscription services.
This is a Sources Sought Announcement issued by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation, nor is it an announcement for a forthcoming solicitation. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in providing a response.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 511210 (Other Computer Related Services) with a Size Standard of $30 million.
United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Economic Research Service (ERS), Market and Trade Economics Division (MTED), has a requirement to procure Refinitiv Eikon subscription services. The Refinitiv Eikon services provides the futures price data, critical for MTED Outlook and research programs. This contract would include cash prices, which are an essential part of Outlook analysis, and it permits using an API, allowing multiple economists/analysts to utilize at the same time. The Refinitiv Eikon service has extensive information on the economy, including commodities trading, corporate treasury, equities trading, fixed income trading and investment research, all of which have a significant input to outlook analysis. It offers multiple integrations, including but not limited to excel for ease of use. The data is provided in a multitude of formats via web or downloaded off web built on open technology platform. The contractor needs to have the ability to furnish all features requested as well as meet the 508 compliance requirements.
Submission Instructions: Interested vendors are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought notification by 12:01p ET on 10 June 2022, to the attention of David Jordan, Contract Specialist, David.Jordan@usda.gov. All questions are asked to be submitted inwriting to the Primary Point of Contract and will be addressed accordingly.
Responses should be no more than 5 pages and include the following information:
- Organization Name;
- Contract Name, e-mail address and phone number;
- Organizations DUNS number;
- Business size status for the applicable NAICS code;
- A statement of interest in any forthcoming acquisition;
- A statement of capability to perform details of the requirement.
Interested vendors are instructed to provide only the data requested. No proprietary classified confidential or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any nonproprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s). Any additional information will not be reviewed by the USDA.
