This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.

The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), Department of Perioperative Medicine intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price for Ultra sound system to FUJIFILM SONOSITE .,

The FuijiFilm Sonosite SII Ultrasound System has Armored Cable Technology, which protects transducers from common accident scenarios and the system may be dropped from a height of three (3) feet and still function normally.

The FujiFilm Sonosite SII Ultrasound System boots up from a hard shut down in less than 25 seconds.

The purpose of this correspondence is to request a PO to purchase a FUJIFILM ultra sound system needed to assist anesthesia care providers with the placement of arterial and venous catheters, assist in peripheral nerve and epidural blocks used to manage and treat patients for surgical and off-site anesthesia procedures and identify cardiac structures in patients with hemodynamic instability.  The ability to better visualize the venous, arterial,

This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6.
