Description
NASA has awarded the Atmosphere Observing System - Sky (Formerly AOS-P) Submillimeter Wave Radiometer Phase A Study to the Northrop Grumman System Corporation, of Redondo Beach, California. The contract action was awarded competitively. This is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract that includes an 15-month base period with no options. The period of performance began September 1, 2024. The work will be performed at the contractor’s facility in Redondo Beach, California. Under this new contract, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation will provide insight into potential instrument concepts that will support AOS-Sky mission implementation, with particular attention to performance capability, developmental maturity, and developmental risk of the AOS Radiometer Instrument.
