Description
This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation for bid. This notice does not commit the Government to a contract. It is the Government's intent to post the solicitation within 1 day of this notice.
The 550th FS is seeking quotes for the procurement of one new point-of-care ultrasound machine and its associated equipment. The required unit must be digital, compact, and capable of providing clear and simple evaluation and procedural guidance. Essential components include a rolling cart, carry case, and power supply.
The ultrasound machine must offer the following features:
- High-quality 2D (B-mode) imaging capability
- Color flow and power doppler with all probes for comprehensive blood flow analysis
- M-mode capability for the evaluation of fast-moving objects
- Adjustable gain function
- Ability to adjust needle gain and angle
- DICOM compatibility with wireless ability to interface with PACS network
- A quick connect/disconnect system for the transducers
- A digital printer
- The ability to adjust needle gain and angle
- Service manual and user guide
Additionally, the unit must include three transducers:
- Linear high frequency (approximately 8-18 MHz)
- Linear mid frequency (approximately 4-12 MHz)
- Curvilinear low frequency (approximately 1-5 MHz)
The system should also come with a minimum of five years warranty coverage for both the system and transducers, operate on a Windows 10-based operating system, and include at least one day of applications training provided by the vendor.
