Notice of Intent (Single Source): Monaco D-21 Fire System Repair

NOTICE OF INTENT: The 9th contracting Squadron intends to solicit and award to only one source (Monaco Enterprises, Inc.) under the authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for the following requirement:

Description of Services: The Contractor shall perform the following system replacement and system upgrades within the scope of this contract. The Contractor shall provide additional functions as described below: 

Replacement of one rack mount EM-C3 CPU (part # 227-020-89), , Transfer of existing EM-C3 software licenses to the new EM-C3 CPU, Removal of existing EM-C3 CPU and programming from D-21 System, Update D-21 and EM software versions as required to incorporate new EM-C3 into D-21 system, Domain modifications to support the new EM-C3 CPU, Establish network connectivity to existing Fire Alarm Reporting System (FARS), Test and validate system performance to ensure connectivity in accordance to factory specified procedures.

Education/Certifications: The Contractor shall ensure that personnel have the required qualifications and experience identified below. Services shall be performed by Monaco Enterprises trained factory personnel.

Training: Provide 2 hours of D-21 operator training from factory trained technician in person. Training shall be accomplished in person while the technician is installing software.
