Description
The objective of this task is to facilitate decision making to obtain screening equipment to assist in providing security services during the event presentation of performing arts, education, and other related cultural programs. The Park has held up to 7,000 attendees for each event. The intent of the use of screening equipment is to allow a continuous entry flow of our visitors while stopping the flow only for guns, weapons and prohibited items as defined in Attachment Prohibited Items.
All proposed screening technology must:
¿ Be able to detect guns and explosive devices during screening
¿ Provide continuous entry screening with throughput of individuals taking less than five seconds.
¿ Be able to be calibrated or otherwise learn to not alarm on cell phones, keys, wallets and other items to minimize the inconvenience to the visitor.
¿ All Proposed WTSD and HHSD units must be approved by the National Park Service.
¿ All Proposed WTSD and HHSD units must be capable of being calibrated daily

Responses will not be considered as proposals. NPS will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding this RFI.

In addition, please submit the screening equipment product data sheets, specifications including manufacturer, model and description, pricing and how it can be obtained and if there are options to lease.
