Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Baxter Healthcare Corp, 1 Baxter Pkwy, Deerfield, IL 60014-4625. The solicitation will result in the procurement of a Base and four (4) one-year option contract for the lease of an EXACTAMIX 1200 Compounding System and Abacus Software License for the VA San Francisco Health Care System in San Francisco, CA. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no competitive solicitation will be issued, however any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the contracting officer for consideration. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed below. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be emailed to Katherine Fairley at Katherine.fairley@va.gov by the due date and time indicated in this notice. No telephone responses will be accepted. No reimbursement for any costs associated with providing capability statements will be provided by the Government. The solicitation will post on SAM.gov or about March 6, 2024.
