REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
NETWORK OPERATIONS & INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTION
(Site C-64) LRSF Fiber Optic Cable installation
The contractor shall provide all equipment, parts, tools, and labor to engineer, furnish, install and test. The Project is for the installation of a 144SM FOC to a distribution hand-hole by new LRSF facility being built on range C-64. A 24 strand fiber will be spliced and installed / terminated in the LRSF from the distribution hand-hole. The 144SM FOC will be installed in an existing 2-Way 4” Manhole Duct system from B9620 to new facility being built 1.37 miles east of B9620. This project is required for communication capabilities to AFRL personnel. The Contractor shall engineer, furnish, install and test (EFI&T) the following requirement. All equipment, supplies, and materials provided shall be new and not refurbished. Period of performance shall be 180 calendar days.
This RFP is not authorization to begin performance, and in no way obligates the Government for any costs incurred by the contractor for this requirement. The Government reserves the right not to award a task order in response to this RFP. Prior to commencement of any activities associated with performance of this requirement, the Government will issue a written directive or contractual document signed by the Contracting Officer with appropriate consideration established.
This procurement will be a 100% Small business Set Aside. RECOMMENDED SITE VISIT INFORMATION
Email stephanie.aiken@us.af.mil to RSVP for the site visit by 22 April 2022 NLT 11:59 PM Central Time. If personnel have a CAC or access to base, then send the name and personal contact information (Cell Phone) only in the RSVP and specify they already have access. If your personnel need a base pass, please send their name, birth date, and personal contact information (Cell Phone). Upon receipt of list of names, birth dates, and contact information (cell phone), the Contract Specialist will submit the information to Security Forces, which takes approximately 3-5 days for approval.
The site visit is scheduled for 4 May 2022 at 9:00 AM Central Time. The site visit will begin at building B9620 Site C-64ABC Range Rd 213. Personnel needing a pass should report to the West Gate (Shalimar near Hospital) Visitor Center with picture ID. If you need directions once on base, please contact the Contract Specialist.

Delivery Terms are FOB Destination with delivery to Eglin AFB, FL.
