Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a Sole Source contract to Rural Route 2, LLC (DBA NSN Solutions) 1401 Valley Park Dr Broadview Heights, OH 44147 for supplying parts to repair Clevis Assembly for Jettison. The proposed contract action is one in which only one responsible source will satisfy the agency requirements (See FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i)) Only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements). The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit capability information in response to this notice by 1100AM PDT 31 August March 22 via email to james.l.blakely2.civ@usnavy.mil. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. The contractor will not be reimbursed for any expenses related to responding to the Notice of Intent.
