Description
The Indian Health Service, Gallup Service Unit located at 516 E. Nizhoni Blvd., Gallup, New Mexico 87301 has an upcoming requirement for a contractor to provide all personnel and vehicles necessary to transport human blood, patient samples and blood products between Gallup, New Mexico and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Transportation shall be from Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) and United Blood Services (UBS New Mexico, 1515 University Blvd., N.E., Albuquerque NM 87102), as well as between GIMC and Tricore Laboratory in Albuquerque, NM (1001 Woodward Pl NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102). The period of performance will start on August 1, 2024 through July 31, 2025. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 492110 with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees.
The Request for Quotations No. 75H71024Q00105 using the principles of FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be issued on or by July 25, 2024. Evaluation factors may include technical capability to meet the government need, ability to meet roundtrip transport schedule and price. Quotes will be due on or by July 30, 2024. The acquisition is a women-owned small business set-aside.
In accordance with 52.204-7(b)(1) prospective contractors must have – and maintain (in accordance with 52.204-13(c) – an active profile in the System for Award Management at beta.SAM.gov in order to submit a quote.
