Description

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from sources capable of providing the following:

0001 Re-Zinc 240 PC-1 LATCHES
Vendor service to remove any residual plastisol residue and re-zinc plate all over in accordance with item C.1 within the attached Statement of Work.

0002 Re-Zinc 120 PC-15 SADDLES
Vendor service to remove any residual plastisol residue and re-zinc plate all over in accordance with item C.1 within the attached Statement of Work.

0003 Re-Zinc 240 PC-16 LINKS
Vendor service to remove any residual plastisol residue and re-zinc plate all over in accordance with item C.1 within the attached Statement of Work.

See attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Statement of Work. Controlled drawings are available for this requirement. Please provide your DD2345 to the CONTRACT SPECIALIST.

• Final Deivery Location: Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME.
• Required Period of Performance: Within 1 month of contract award, 10/2/2023-11/1/2023

METHOD OF PROPOSAL SUBMISSION: Offers shall be emailed to Tom Fuller at thomas.g.fuller17.civ@us.navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.

Offerors should submit the following:
1. A quote with their best pricing terms and best delivery or performance schedule.
2. Past work information such as historical contracts or CPARs information that indicate experience relevant to this requirement

Q1: What is the top-level assy part number for these 3 items? Listed are components PC-1, 15, & 16, what is this in reference to?

A1: PC-1 LATCH, PC-15 SADDLE, and PC-16 LINK are components of Assembly 98 of NAVSEA Drawing 709-5200393 REV E. 

Q2: Are these parts NoForn? And if yes, will NN-801 be invoked?

A2: To the best of the customer’s knowledge because the drawings are NOFORN, the material would fall under the suggested criteria
