NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source.

The Reference Number is FA441822Q0063. The 628th Contracting Squadron, 101 E. Hill Blvd., Joint Base Charleston, intends to award a sole source contract for North Auxiliary Air Field Telecommunication Services.

The 628th Contracting Squadron intends to make an award to TDS Telecommunications Corporation, 525 Junction Rd, Ste. 1000, Madison, WI 53717.

In accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 5.207(c) (16) (ii), the proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The Government has a requirement for leased local exchange access commercial network service, path/interface to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) to support simultaneous access, transmission and switching of voice, data and image services located at North Auxiliary Air Field, 141 Slab Landing Road, North, South Carolina 29112. North Auxiliary Air Field telecommunication services are currently provided through use of TDS Telecommunications Corp. equipment.

This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation that shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
