HOSE
2 ½" Seawater Hose, 50' Lengths

NOTE CHANGE - 

  • SUPPLIER MUST PROVIDE WRITTEN CERTIFICATION THAT HOSE ASSEMBLIES (HOSE AND FITTING) HAVE BEEN HYDROSTATICALLY TESTED AT 600 PSIG WITH CLEAN, FRESH WATER FOR 30 MINUTES WITH ZERO LEAKS AND/OR BULDGES.

HOSE ASSEMBLY MUST BE MANUFACTURED USING COMPONENTS
FROM ONE MANUFACTURER. HOSE ASSEMBLIES ARE TO BE
ORDERED USING THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OUTLINED
BELOW.
EACH HOSE ASSEMBLY IS TO BE IN LENGHTS OF 50 FEET AND
EQUIPPED WITH IDENTICAL MALE NPT FTGS ON EACH END.
ASSEMBLIES MUST BE PROVIDED USING AEROQUIP PART NUMBER
2651-40 OR AE 369 FOR THE HOSE AND PART NUMBER 44- 412-40-40
FOR THE FITTINGS OR EQUAL.
NOTE: THE HOSE IS NOT LIMITED TO AEROQUIP. ANY OTHER
COMPANY THAT COMPLIES WITH THE SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the
information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be
issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This
combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on SAM.GOV.
The solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular 2022-04 and DFARS Change Notice 20211230. It is the responsibility of
the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be

The NAICS code is 326220 and the Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees. The
proposed contract action is set-aside for small business concerns. The proposed contract action is
for commercial items for which the Government intends to award a Single Award contract with
Firm Fixed-price provisions, under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5.
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or
submit proposals. All bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date may be
considered by the Government.

5. SITE VISIT: There will be no site visit for this requirement.
6. Questions: All questions shall be in writing and e-mailed to
Angela.Goldsmith@DLA.MIL Questions concerning this solicitation will be accepted up to the
Close of Business (1500 EST) on 8 March 2022. DLA Maritime does not commit to providing
responses to questions submitted after this date; however, attempts to answer questions will be
made. If needed a solicitation amendment will be posted by 10 March 2022.HOSE
