Description
Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Argentina will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available.
The requirement is labor and materials supply for the installation of awnings in one area of the embassy property.
This awning will be installed in the area of the perimeter fence. The objective is to protect visa applicants from the sun and rain. This work will take place at the United States Embassy in Buenos Aires, placed on Avenida Colombia 4300, Palermo C.A.B.A
The period of performance of this project is of 65 consecutive days. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.
The estimated size of the project is Between $200,000 and $250,000
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021)
