STATEMENT OF NEED Fluoroscopy Endoscopy Bed GENERAL: James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Gastrointestinal and Pulmonary Endoscopy Units, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33612, has a requirement for fluoroscopy beds. These fluoroscopy beds will be used during procedures requiring fluoroscopic imaging. BACKGROUND: The James A Haley Gastrointestinal and Pulmonary Endoscopy units perform many advanced procedures to manage common bile duct stones, malignant obstructive jaundice, post-operative bile leaks, and transbronchial lesions. PURPOSE: The equipment will enhance the ability of the Gastroenterologist and Pulmonologist during these advanced procedures and enhance their ability to perform the necessary interventions safely.   SCOPE: James A Haley is requesting contractors provide brand name or equal equipment that meets or exceed the physical, functional and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section.  The equipment feature is essential to the technical requirements to meet the need of the government. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Equipment must have the physical characteristics to enable the government to perform the capabilities: Table top dimensions: 26 x 82 rectangular top with no facial cutout Minimum height, 38 (96 cm) maximum height 15.75 (40 cm) motorized longitudinal travel High resolution carbon-fiber table top rated at 1.0 Al equivalency rated at 500 lbs. (227 kg) evenly distributed patient capacity Carbon fiber table top with 5-way movement including, trendelenburg, tilt, longitudinal travel, transvers travel and elevation. FUNCTIONAL AND PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS: Equipment must provide the following functional and performance capability to ensure the false reading or results from the equipment during prevention of test: 300 mm motorized elevating lift travel: 26 (66 cm) Motorized trendelenburg tilting table top, +/- 15 degrees Infection control covers Heavy duty steel base frame, with four (4) hospital grade independently locking casters Motorized elevating lift, rated at 500 lbs. (227 kg) lift capacity Power Supply: 110 VAC or 230 VAC operation, Processor 3.7 GHz 8-Core (brand name or equal RYZEN 7 2700) CPU liquid cooler Minimum 16 GB ram installed and minimum of 2 ram expansion slots Water cool ready case with internal fans Graphics card stable up to 1080 resolution 2TB SSD for game storage 512 GB SSD for system use and operating system storage Microsoft windows version 10 installed Monitors minimum 24.5 in with 1080P @ 240 HZ Mechanical keyboards Power supply sufficient to power all installed equipment TRAINING: The Government will not require additional training. WARRANTY OF EQUIPMENT: Government requirement for standard manufacturer industry warranty term. Government does not accept extended warranty, which requires advance payment.
